The E 512 rim from DT Swiss is built for wide tyres and the most demanding of trails. Put simply - it loves the rough stuff!. At a more economical price point to the more race orientated EX 471. Sleeve joined for strength.

Freed from UCI regulation, the DT Swiss Gravel range was free to go as wide as DT's test data suggested, after extensive testing of different tyre profiles and rim shapes, DT engineers have settled on a full 24 mm as the perfect width.

The Ratchet LN upgrade kit enables the conversion of DT Swiss 3-pawl hubs to the renowned DT Ratchet freehub system. Pawl freehub systems create relatively small engagement surfaces, which result in higher stress on the contact area.
