The Knog Scout is an additional piece of bike security to give you greater peace of mind. By combing an ear-piercing 85db bike alarm and a highly accurate finder using Apple's Find My application.
Take Bike Security To Another Level
When the Scout is armed, any movement of your bike will trigger its motion-sensitive audio alarm designed to discourage the would-be thief and alert you via a notification to your iPhone (when in Bluetooth range). In the case of returning to your bike's original location and your bike is missing, it can be quickly located using Apple's network via the 'Find My' app.

Knog Scout tracker technology is similar to GPS. It sends out a secure Bluetooth signal that can be detected by nearby devices in the Find My network. These devices send the location of your tracker to iCloud — then you can go to the Find My app and see it on a map. The whole process is anonymous and encrypted to protect your privacy.

Arming Scout Is Quick & Easy
The Scout can be armed or disarmed by using the button on the side of the device when the connected iPhone is in close proximity of <1.5m. It can also be armed and disarmed when usin
g the Knog app when the device is within Bluetooth range.
Mounting & Securing
With your Scout, you can choose to fit your device in a discreet manner or choose to have it visible so that would-be thieves know to avoid attempting to steal your bicycle by using its included yellow silicone cover. For increased discreetness, you can mount the unit on your bike's bottle cage mounts using tamper-proof security screws.
Mounting With A Bottle Cage
Scout's extremely low profile and compact design allow for it to be neatly bolted and hidden underneath a bottle cage. This is a great way to keep Scout hidden.
