Bosch Active Line REMAN drive unit kit (BDU250C)

Information

A defective Active Line drive unit (see serial number on type plate 0275007020 and 0275007030) or a defective Active Line REMAN drive unit (serial number on type plate 0275007050) will in future only be replaced by the Active Line REMAN drive unit kit (0275007346). 

The exception is the Active Line Drive Unit (see serial number on the type plate 0275007040). This is replaced by the Performance Line drive unit kit (0275007340).

A REMAN drive unit is a remanufactured drive unit. This means that used drives that qualify for the process after appropriate testing are reconditioned and correspond to the series condition after final acceptance.
This is part of the sustainability strategy of Bosch eBike Systems and contributes to the reuse of non-defective components.

The REMAN drive unit is therefore technically equivalent to new drive units and offers a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative.

So if a customer needs a new drive unit but is outside the warranty period, a REMAN drive unit is a sustainable alternative.
